Pedigree
Chase is the first offspring we have out of his father Dreamer, and is also
the very first "red to red" breeding we've ever done. He has fabulous color,
and is turning out to be the spitting image of his father - very laid back
personality like dad, and a total sweetheart! It's wonderful to see that the
intense red color of both his father and mother (Delite) has come through in
their son.
With the 2004-05 show season just completed, we are very proud that Chase
is CFA's 2nd best Somali (and best red Somali), as well as being the Northwest
Region's 8th best cat in championship, and best Somali.
We had the opportunity to get some new photos of Chase in December 2008 at
our home, and while he truly had "the time of his life" racing around, jumping
up on the table for a quick photo, jumping down and racing around - it wasn't
the best photo session in the world, because he was so silly. But he sure had fun!!!
We neutered Chase in 2011, and he's discovered that being "out in the house" is
WAY better than being in his own room! He's pretty sure that anywhere mom is at
is where he should be... silly red Somali boy! He's got two gorgeous sons that
are now part of our breeding program (TC and Timer), and so far, they seem to be
carrying on their father's tradition of producing gorgeous, sweet babies!
