Cookie is one of two ruddy kittens born in April of 1999, to Tia and Lukas.
Cookie had a rough start in life, hence her name of "One Tough Cookie".
She is an absolute sweetheart, and has done very well in shows. Cookie
was the 2nd best Somali kitten at the CFA International show this past
November, earning the same honor that her father did, when he attended
the International show as a kitten. However, her father made only one
final at that show, and Cookie made two... she was chosen as judge Gary
Powell's 10th best shorthair kitten (out of 315 shorthair kittens present),
and judge Larry Adkison's 13th best shorthair kitten. Pictures of Cookie
in both of these finals are shown at the end of her pictures, below.
Cookie recently earned the title of grand champion, and is now retired
from showing. She was CFA Northwest Region's 3rd best Somali, and 2nd
best ruddy Somali, for the 1999-2000 show season.
Cookie gave birth to her one (and only) litter of kittens this past July.
Proud papa was GC, RW Foxykats Rigel Kentaurus. Cookie has recently moved
to her new home, which she is sharing with her "cousin", GC Tamarakatz
KC's Spirit, in the Seattle area.
